United Oil competes in the annual WA Improved Production Championship.
An Improved Production car is based on a modified road car, made popular by the fact that it is fast and relatively inexpensive. Improved Production is one of the fastest growing categories of circuit racing in Australia.

Competitors start with an eligible production body shell, and then carrying out substantial modifications to engines, brakes & suspension. Competitors are allowed to fit a bigger engine from the same manufacturer as the body shell. It can be a twin cam, or a turbo (with a restrictor), or a bridge or peripheral port in the case of a Mazda, depending on the model.

WA Street Car Championship

United Oil competes in the annual WA Street Car Championship.
Street Cars are high performance race vehicles based on production road cars. The Street Car regulations allow a great deal of freedom in modifying engines, brakes & suspension while limiting the addition of aerodynamic aids & body modifications.

Street Car racing is divvied in two categories. The 'Outright' cars with engine capacities over 2000cc and the U2L cars with engine capacities under 2000cc. Cars competing in the Outright category range from Fiat Turbos, Nissan Skyline GTR's to early and late model RX7 turbos. While the U2L class cars range from Honda CRX's to Escort RS2000 Cosworths.

V8 Racing Ute

United Oil is a proud sponsor of Hi-Tech Motorsport for the 2009 V8 Racing Ute Series.

The Australian V8 Ute Racing Category was conceived in 2000 and launched March 2001 at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.

Competition consists of a mix of identical Ford XR8 V8's and Holden SS Commodores. The Ute's are production based with limited modifications and extremely close lap times.
